My brief stay in Shanghai is over, now it's off to Thailand.

During the morning in Shanghai parks you can find organized groups of elderly Chinese exercising in many forms, including dance and tai chi. I found this to be true throughout the day as well, the most notable being an old man walking through the cold rain in a park yesterday singing loudly but quite well. Here is an impromptu video clip of a man playing his flute through a speaker, his continuous melodies offered a pleasant soundtrack for the lively mahjong matches and kite flying.
