Here's a look at a brainstorming session the other night at SOSU (Southern Supply Creative Labs) for an Africaid project bringing college level education to female students in Tanzania through special projects and scholarships. The creative session was focused on how to spread the word and find more donors for the project. You can find more info about the KISA project here: http://africaid.com/kisaproject. The impact a few dollars can make in a student's future is pretty incredible, and hopefully the ideas from this night will help to better get the word out and make a big difference in the growth of this educational initiative.

Today I'm editing one video piece from last weekend at a poetry event in Denver: "100,000,000 Dead Poets for Spare Change;" and a video of my own, about running and more specifically about one runner. This is a still from one of the running locations in the foothills west of Denver. This video follows Lauren from her first days running - something she swore she'd never do - to her first half-marathon, mere weeks after the start of training. The race is a trail race in Fort Collins that's not only her first race but a strenuous course and what she discovers has at least one section called the "F-you hill." There's a little more to shoot for this, but the majority is done. I'm working on adding a lot of information to the short with text overlays and I'm excited for the final piece.
